Terms & Conditions – Northside RV Park

Effective Date: January 2026
Location: Taber, Alberta

By accessing or using the Northside RV Park website, making a reservation, or staying at the park, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

​

1. Reservations & Bookings

  • All reservations are subject to availability.

  • Guests must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation.

  • A valid credit card and/or deposit may be required to secure a booking.

  • Rates, fees, and policies are subject to change without notice.

  • Renting or subletting RVs or sites is not permitted.

2. Payments, Refunds & Early Departure

  • Payment terms and balances due will be specified at the time of booking.

  • All payments are processed securely through third-party providers.

  • Campers choosing to leave early or remove their trailer will not receive a refund.

  • No refunds will be issued for early departures, no-shows, or unused nights.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations are subject to the park’s posted Cancellation Policy.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be issued in accordance with that policy.

​

4. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in and check-out times will be provided at the time of booking or on the website.

  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available at management’s discretion and may incur additional fees.

  • ​

5. Quiet Hours & Conduct

  • Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

  • Due to the park’s location in an industrial area, guests may experience noise between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

  • No loud parties, foul language, or disorderly conduct is permitted.

  • Minors must return to their campsite by 11:00 PM.

  • Security may conduct walkabouts during quiet hours.

  • Guests must comply with all park rules and staff directions.

6. Site Appearance & Maintenance

  • Sites must be kept neat, tidy, and clean at all times.

  • No debris, garbage, or building materials may be stored on-site.

  • Campers are responsible for maintaining their lot.

  • Failure to comply within 7 days of notice may result in campground staff completing the work at the camper’s expense, with a minimum one-hour charge of $60/hour plus tax, invoiced to the camper.

7. Structures & Modifications

  • No permanent changes or attachments to lots without written pre-approval from management.

  • Permits from the Town of Taber are required for any additions to a site.

  • Only one portable shed is allowed per site (maximum size: 8 ft x 8 ft / 512 cubic feet).

  • Unauthorized structures or modifications may be removed at the camper’s expense.

8. RV & Equipment Requirements

  • All RVs and trailers must be insured, in good condition, and easily movable.

  • Trailers and RVs must be newer than 15 years old and no longer than 20 feet (unless otherwise approved by management).

  • Roofs must be in good condition. Tarps, plastic, or poly covers are not permitted.

  • Skirting must match the trailer in colour and be made of metal. Tarps are not permitted.

  • Utility connections (surge protectors, routers, extenders, etc.) must be approved by management.

  • Additional appliances will incur a $50/month + tax charge (applies to more than one refrigerator and/or freezer).

9. Garbage & Recycling

Waste must be sorted as follows:

  • Plastic/Cardboard – Clear bag

  • Cans/Bottles – Blue bag

  • Compostables – Biodegradable bag

  • All other garbage – Clear bag

  • Large items (e.g., BBQs, mattresses) must be disposed of off-site.

  • Dumpsters are provided: brown for garbage and blue for recycling.

  • Large items may not be placed beside dumpsters and must be taken to the Taber Landfill / Transfer Station.

10. Fires, Smoking & Substances

  • No open fires are permitted.

  • Cannabis use and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on campground property.

11. Pets

Pets must:

  • Be on a leash at all times (leash must not cross into another site).

  • Not be left unattended.

  • Have waste picked up immediately and disposed of properly.

  • Be vaccinated; records must be provided upon request.

Management reserves the right to remove disruptive or aggressive pets.

​

12. Visitors & Vehicles

  • Visitors must register their vehicle and pay applicable fees.

  • Only vehicles registered under the Motor Vehicle Act are permitted.

  • Vehicles must be fully insured; proof of insurance may be requested.

  • One vehicle is permitted per site unless prior written approval is granted.

  • Unregistered or uninsured vehicles must be removed immediately and may be removed at the camper’s expense.

  • Overflow parking is available.

  • Do not park in front of other trailers or buildings.

13. Safety & Equipment Use

  • Bicycles must be ridden safely, with helmets, and parked by dusk.

  • No off-highway vehicles (ATVs, dirt bikes, etc.) are permitted on-site.

​

14. Seasonal Site Policies

  • A non-refundable deposit is due by the September long weekend to reserve a site for the following season.

  • The final seasonal balance is due by the last week of April.

  • No refunds will be issued for seasonal sites.

  • If no deposit is received by the deadline, the site will be considered available for new renters.

15. Sales & Transfers

  • Campers may sell their trailers on-site with prior written approval from management.

  • New owners must pay the full seasonal fees and complete all required paperwork.

  • No refunds will be issued to the original camper upon sale.

​

16. Keys & Emergencies

  • Campers must provide either:

    • A copy of their RV key to management (kept in a secure lockbox), or

    • Access instructions for emergencies.

This allows prompt action in emergencies (e.g., power shutoff, awning retraction).

​

17. Surveillance & Security

  • The park uses on-site surveillance cameras for security purposes.

  • Surveillance does not guarantee safety. Guests remain responsible for their own security and property.

​

18. Liability & Disclaimers

  • The campground is not liable for weather events, insects, falling trees, or other natural occurrences.

  • Campers are responsible for providing their own insurance for RVs and belongings.

  • Owners are not responsible for accidents, damages, losses, or theft.

​

19. Private Campground & Conduct Enforcement

  • Northside RV Park is a private campground.

  • No business or commercial activity is permitted without written permission.

  • Rules may be amended at any time by management.

  • Non-compliance or unacceptable behavior may result in immediate eviction without refund.

20. Website Use

Users of the website agree not to:

  • Misuse the website or attempt unauthorized access

  • Submit false or misleading information

  • Interfere with website security or functionality

​

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

​

22. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page.
